About Us

The Curly Haired Unicorn was born out of the need for representation in the stories we tell our children. Traditionally, in the US, popular children’s stories have a predominant style of imagery.  Not representing all shapes, sizes and colors may have subtle and sometimes larger impacts on insecurities or confidence, especially for impressionable minds.  This story is about seeing beauty in many places and faces.  We hope you enjoy it and help us to continue to tell stories of beauty all around us.
